SECTION 31-8-5

   § 31-8-5  Suspension or revocation ofcertificate or special plates of manufacturer, transporter, or dealer. –The division of motor vehicles is also authorized to suspend or revoke acertificate or the special plates issued to a manufacturer, bailee, or dealerupon determining that this person is not lawfully entitled to it; has made orknowingly permitted any illegal use of those plates; has committed fraud in theregistration of vehicles; or has failed to give notices of transfers when andas required by chapters 3 – 9 of this title.
