SECTION 33-13-13

   § 33-13-13  Payment of money into court forbenefit of foreign legatee or distributee. – Where it shall appear that a legatee or distributee resides outside of theUnited States or its territories and would not have the benefit, use, orcontrol of the money, or other property due him or her, the probate court maydirect that the money or other property be paid into the registry of theprobate court for the benefit of the legatee or distributee or the person orpersons as may thereafter appear to be entitled thereto. Any money or otherproperty so paid into court shall be paid out only by special order of theprobate court or pursuant to the judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.
