SECTION 33-13-19

   § 33-13-19  Liability to creditor foramount payable by insolvent heir, devisee or other – Restriction to amountreceived from estate. – If an heir, devisee or other person who was originally liable with others forthe claim is insolvent, unable to pay his or her proportion thereof, or beyondreach of process, the others shall be liable to the creditor for the wholeamount of his or her claim; but no one shall be compelled to pay more than theamount received by him or her from the estate of the deceased.
