SECTION 33-16-10

   § 33-16-10  Showing of minority as evidenceof necessity for guardian. – Where a petition is filed for the appointment of a guardian for a minor, acertificate of the administrator or his or her authorized representative,setting forth the age of the minor as shown by the records of the veteransadministration, and the fact that the appointment of a guardian is a conditionprecedent to the payment of any money due the minor by the veteransadministration, may be used as prima facie evidence of the necessity for theappointment.
