SECTION 33-16-31

   § 33-16-31  Commitment of insane person tofederal agency. – Upon the written application of the parent, guardian, relative or friend of anyperson, accompanied by the certificate of two (2) practicing physicians,registered in the state, that the person is insane, the veterans administrationor other agency of the United States government, is hereby authorized toreceive the insane person for care and treatment upon terms as may be fixed bythe veterans administration or other agency of the United States government inits discretion.
