SECTION 33-18-1

   § 33-18-1  Publication of qualification offiduciary – Statement filed by clerk. – Upon the qualification of every executor, administrator, conservator, orguardian, the probate clerk shall give notice of the qualification bypublication in any newspaper and as often as the court may direct, and in thenewspaper shall notify creditors to file their claims in the office of theprobate clerk within the time required by law. The clerk shall file in thecourt a written statement setting out a copy of the notice, the dates, andplace of its publication, and generally his or her compliance with the order ofthe court. A certified copy of the statement shall be admitted as evidence ofthe time, place, and manner in which notice was given.
