SECTION 33-20-9

   § 33-20-9  Person appointed as conservator– Bond – Powers. – The court shall have full discretionary authority to appoint any suitableperson as conservator and may require the conservator to post an adequatesurety bond and to make such reports as the court may deem necessary. Theconservator shall have the same powers and authority as the guardian of theproperty of an infant or incompetent and shall be considered as an officer orarm of the court.
