SECTION 33-21.1-15

   § 33-21.1-15  Wages. – Unpaid wages, including wages represented by unpresented payroll checks, owingin the ordinary course of the holder's business which remain unclaimed by theowner for more than one year after becoming payable are presumed abandoned. Inaddition, unpaid wages, including wages represented by unpresented payrollchecks, owing in the ordinary course of the business of a hospital, private,nonprofit institution of higher education, and other domestic charitablecorporation which remain unclaimed by the owner for more than one year afterbecoming payable are presumed abandoned.
