SECTION 33-21.1-8

   § 33-21.1-8  Deposits held by utilities.– A deposit, including any interest on the deposit, made by a subscriber with autility to secure payment or any sum paid in advance for utility services to befurnished, less any lawful deductions, that remains unclaimed by the owner formore than one year after termination of the services for which the deposit oradvance payment was made is presumed abandoned.
