SECTION 33-7-18

   § 33-7-18  Request to record foreignprobated will. – Whenever the executor or any other person interested in any will, which hasbeen finally proved and allowed in a probate court in any territory, district,or state of the United States, or in a probate court in any foreign country,shall produce a copy of the will and of the will's probate, duly authenticatedaccording to an act of congress, to any probate court in any town or city inthis state where the testator had property, real or personal, upon which thewill may operate, and shall in writing request that the will may be filed andrecorded in the office of the probate clerk in that town or city, the courtshall assign a time and place for a hearing.
