SECTION 34-12-8

   § 34-12-8  Proof of authority of armedforces officer. – If the signature, rank, and branch of service or subdivision thereof, of anysuch commissioned officer appear upon such instrument or document orcertificate, no further proof of authority of the officer so to act shall berequired and the action by the commissioned officer shall be prima facieevidence that the person making the oath or acknowledgment is within thepurview of §§ 34-12-5 – 34-12-7.
