SECTION 34-15-2

   § 34-15-2  Cotenants of estates for life oryears. – All joint tenants, coparceners, and tenants in common, who now are or hereaftermay be actually seised or possessed of any estate for life or years in anylands, tenements, or hereditaments, may be compelled to make the partitionbetween them of such lands, tenements, and hereditaments, to continue until theestate of some of the parties to the lands, tenements, or hereditaments shalldetermine, and no longer, by civil action.
