SECTION 34-36.1-4.20

   § 34-36.1-4.20  Substantial completion ofunits. – In the case of a sale of a unit where delivery of a public offering statementis required, a contract of sale may be executed, but no interest in that unitmay be conveyed until the declaration is recorded and the unit is substantiallycompleted, as evidenced by a recorded certificate of substantial completionexecuted by an independent registered architect or engineer, or by issuance ofa certificate of occupancy authorized by law.
