   § 35-12-18  Construction with otherstatutes. – Nothing in this chapter shall restrict or limit the powers of the corporationarising under any laws of this state. This chapter shall be construed toprovide a complete additional and alternative method for doing the thingsauthorized by this chapter and shall be regarded as supplemental and inaddition to the powers conferred by other laws. The issuance of all notes andother obligations of the corporation under the provisions of this chapter neednot comply with the requirements of any other statute applicable to theissuance of obligations. No proceedings or notice of approval shall be requiredfor the issuance of any notes and other obligations or any instruments ofsecurity therefor except as provided in this chapter.
