   § 35-3-17  Quarterly and monthlyallotments. – After the annual appropriation bill or bills have been passed by the generalassembly and signed by the governor, the budget officer shall determine byquarterly or monthly allotments, in accordance with seasonal requirements, thedivision of amounts to be expended under each appropriation. The budget officershall make this initial determination within forty-five (45) calendar days ofthe signing of the annual appropriations bill by the governor. A copy of theinitial determination shall be forwarded to the chairperson of the housefinance committee and the chairperson of the senate finance committee. Copiesof subsequent determinations shall be forwarded in like manner when made.
