SECTION 35-3-6

   § 35-3-6  Compensation of outside personnelemployed in preparation of budget. – Whenever the budget officer shall deem it advisable or necessary to require theattendance of any person other than the director of a department or a personemployed by the state in the classified service, to aid and assist him or herin the preparation of the annual budget, the budget officer may compensate theperson for his or her attendance and other necessary expenses.
