SECTION 35-6-15

   § 35-6-15  Payment of general assemblymembers. – The secretary of state and the clerks of the house of representatives shall,every thirty (30) days during each session of the general assembly and at theclose of each session of the general assembly, severally prepare statements ofthe amounts to which the members of their respective houses are entitled fortheir pay and mileage, and shall transmit the statements to the statecontroller, who shall draw orders on the general treasurer for the paymentthereof, in favor of each member.
