   § 35-6-35  Oath of persons accounting– Inquiries as to facts. – Whenever any account shall be presented to the department of administration foraudit, it may require the person presenting the account, and any other person,to be sworn before the state controller touching the account, and, when sosworn, to answer orally or in writing as to any facts relating to the truth andjustness of the account.
