SECTION 35-6-36

   § 35-6-36  Access of controller to recordsof state departments. – The department of administration shall supervise the accounts of all statedepartments and agencies, and the department shall at all times and withoutnotice, for the purpose of examination, have access to the books of accountsand all records relating to the receipts, disbursements, and financialmanagement of all state departments and agencies.
