SECTION 35-6-41

   § 35-6-41  Refund of erroneous or excessivepayments to state. – Whenever an erroneous payment or any payment in excess of the correct amounthas been made to the state, the general treasurer shall refund the erroneouspayment or overpayment; and the state controller, upon receipt by him or her ofproper vouchers is authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon thegeneral treasurer for the refund of any erroneous payment or overpayment.
