SECTION 35-8.1-6

   § 35-8.1-6  Compensation and expenses ofmembers – Effect of membership on state office or employment. – The members of the authority shall serve without compensation, but theauthority shall reimburse them for actual expenses necessarily incurred in thedischarge of their duties. Notwithstanding any other law, an officer oremployee of the state shall not be deemed to have forfeited or shall forfeithis or her office or employment or any benefits thereof by reason of acceptanceof the office of member of the authority.
