   § 35-8.1-7  Staff – Consultants –Rules. – The authority shall be staffed by the office of the general treasurer. Theauthority may employ such consultants, as it, in its discretion, deemsnecessary. For purposes of this chapter only, the authority may adopt rulespursuant to chapter 35 of title 42 upon less than twenty (20) days' notice andit may proceed upon any abbreviated notice and hearing to adopt an emergencyrule if it finds an economic benefit to the state. The rules shall becomeeffective immediately upon filing with the secretary of state.
