SECTION 36-1-7

   § 36-1-7  Removal of officers appointedwith advice and consent of senate. – Notwithstanding any other provisions of law in relation to the tenure of theiroffice, any officer appointed by the governor with the advice and consent ofthe senate may be removed either by the governor, with the advice and consentof the senate, or as otherwise specifically provided by law.
