SECTION 36-10-13

   § 36-10-13  Amount of ordinary disabilitybenefit. – Upon retirement for ordinary disability under § 36-10-12, a member shallreceive a benefit equal to the rate prescribed for service retirement under§ 36-10-10, subject to the provisions of § 36-10-31; provided,however, that no member retiring with less than ten (10) years of total serviceshall receive a benefit less than he or she would have received if he or shehad ten (10) years of total service.
