SECTION 36-10-22

   § 36-10-22  Retention of death benefitcoverage by general assembly member not reelected. – If any present or former member of the general assembly who is a member of thesystem, who is not reelected, desires to retain his or her ordinary deathbenefit insurance coverage, he or she shall be allowed to do so providing thathe or she pays an annual contribution of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per year foreach year the insurance is carried by the member or former member of thegeneral assembly.
