SECTION 36-2-4

   § 36-2-4  Fees for acknowledgments andengagements. – To all officers empowered to take acknowledgments of deeds and administer oathsof engagement to office, there shall be allowed:

   (1) For taking acknowledgment of one or more parties to anyinstrument at one time $  .50
