   § 36-4-11  Allocation of positions toclasses within plan. – After the adoption of the classification plan by the governor, the personneladministrator shall allocate every position in the classified service to one ofthe classes established by the plan. Thereafter, whenever new positions areauthorized and created, whenever the duties and responsibilities of existingpositions change, or whenever the classification plan is amended, the personneladministrator shall allocate or reallocate the affected positions and shalldetermine the status of employees affected by the action in accordance with thepersonnel rules.
