§ 36-4-27 Unlawful procurement of waiveror withdrawal. – An appointing authority or other person who shall procure the signing of awaiver or otherwise induce an eligible to withdraw his or her name throughfraud, misrepresentation, duress, or promise shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
