SECTION 36-6-11

   § 36-6-11  Withholding tax deductions.– The state controller is hereby authorized and directed to make appropriatesalary deductions from the salary or wages of each employee of the state, or ofany agency thereof, in compliance with the withholding provisions of theinternal revenue code of the United States of America, and all amendmentsthereto, and to make all necessary and appropriate reports and paymentsrequired thereby. The action of the state controller in making thosedeductions, reports, and payments, is hereby ratified and confirmed.
