§ 36-6-6 - Salaries in lieu of fees. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 36-6-6

   § 36-6-6  Salaries in lieu of fees. –The salary received from the state by any sheriff, deputy sheriff, clerk of anycourt, or other officer by whom fees are received as a part of his or herofficial duties shall be in full compensation for all services rendered by himor her personally to the state. That salary shall be in lieu of all fees whichhe or she or his or her deputies, assistants, or subordinates are now or wereformerly authorized to receive for those services.
