SECTION 36-7-19

   § 36-7-19  Certification of results ofreferendum. – Upon receipt of satisfactory proof with respect to a referendum that theconditions specified in § 218(d)(3) of the federal Social Security Act, 42U.S.C. § 418(d)(3), have been met, the governor shall certify to thesecretary that the conditions were met. Proper steps to give effect to theresults of the referendum shall be taken by the general treasurer within aperiod of two (2) years of the date of the referendum.
