   § 36-7-29  Rules and regulations –Studies – Report to general assembly. – The general treasurer shall prescribe such rules and regulations notinconsistent with the provisions of §§ 36-7-1 – 36-7-31 as maybe necessary or appropriate for the efficient administration of its provisions.He or she shall make such analyses and studies of the operation §§36-7-1 – 36-7-31 as may be deemed necessary and shall submit a report tothe general assembly at the beginning of each regular session covering theadministration and operation of §§ 36-7-1 – 36-7-31 during thepreceding fiscal year including appropriate recommendations for amendment ofits provisions.
