SECTION 36-7-30

   § 36-7-30  Assurance of payment of amountsdue from state agencies. – In order to secure the payment to the general treasurer of the sums required tobe paid under this chapter by agencies of the state and to provide a guarantyof payment thereof similar to the guaranty provided for payments by a city ortown, the general treasurer may require from any agency of the state reasonableassurance of payment to the state of the sums to be paid under this chapterduring annual periods by guaranty, bond, or similar assurance satisfactory tothe general treasurer.
