   § 37-15.1-8  Application procedure. –(a) A person eligible to receive a grant, loan, or contract under this chapter,and the department's regulations adopted pursuant thereto, may make anapplication for the loan, grant, or contract in such form as may be required bythe department.

   (b) The department shall grant or loan funds, and contractfor services from the hard-to-dispose material account to eligible persons whohave submitted an application for funds upon determining that the plansubmitted by that person is qualified and suitable for purposes of the program.

   (c) The department shall require periodic reports to be filedby grant recipients. The department shall review, evaluate, and follow up onany actions taken by grant recipients to ensure that the purposes of thischapter are being achieved.
