   § 37-2-53  Written determination forcontinuation of the procurement. – In the event of a protest timely filed under § 37-2-52(b), the state shallnot proceed further with the solicitation or award involved until the chiefpurchasing officer makes a written and adequately supported determination thatcontinuation of the procurement is necessary to protect a substantial interestof the state.
