SECTION 37-21-3

   § 37-21-3  Use of minority businessdevelopment compliance funding. – (a) All sums appropriated for minority business development compliance accountshall be used for the primary purpose of developing the monitoring andcompliance functions relating to equal opportunity laws and the state'sminority business enterprise programs. The purpose of the program shall be toguarantee maximum minority business enterprise and minority workforceparticipation on state and federally funded construction projects, and toassure the fullest possible implementation of the state's minority businessenterprise procurement program.

   (b) Funds shall be used for compliance analysis, on-sitemonitoring, special studies, outreach to the minority business enterprisecommunity, training and apprenticeship programs, general administration of theprogram, and related purposes.
