§ 37-22-11 - Sovereign immunity.
SECTION 37-22-11
§ 37-22-11 Sovereign immunity. – Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as or deemed a waiver of thesovereign immunity of the State of Rhode Island, any responsible public entityor any affected local jurisdiction or any officer or employee thereof withrespect to the participation in, or approval of all or any part of thequalifying project. A city in which a qualifying project is located shallpossess sovereign immunity with respect to its construction and operation.
