SECTION 37-3.2-2

   § 37-3.2-2  Acquisition of title toproperty. – Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, the governor isauthorized, empowered, and directed, with the approval of the state propertiescommittee, to acquire, in the name of the state of Rhode Island and ProvidencePlantations, from the United States, title to the reverter personal property,the surplus real property, the surplus personal property, and the real andpersonal property located at the naval construction battalion center in thevillage of Davisville, town of North Kingstown, and the real and personalproperty located at the naval complex in the county of Newport.
