SECTION 37-5-6

   § 37-5-6  Emergency public works powers.– The department and director shall exercise and perform all the powers, duties,and functions now or formerly exercised or performed by the emergency publicworks commission, with the exception of the award of contracts for newbuildings, which contracts shall be awarded by the department ofadministration, and the emergency public works commission is hereby abolished.
