§ 39-1-10 - Powers and duties of clerk.

SECTION 39-1-10

   § 39-1-10  Powers and duties of clerk.– The clerk shall have the custody of the seal of the commission, have generalcharge of the office, keep a full record of its proceedings, file and preserveat its office all documents and papers entrusted to his or her care, preparesuch papers and notices as may be required of him or her by the commission, andperform such other duties as it may prescribe. The clerk shall have power toissue subpoenas for witnesses and to administer oaths in all cases before thecommission or pertaining to the duties of the office.
