§ 39-11-23 - Penalty for violations.
SECTION 39-11-23
§ 39-11-23 Penalty for violations. –(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guiltyof a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not exceedingfive hundred dollars ($500) or imprisoned for a term not exceeding one year, orshall be so fined and imprisoned.
(b) For the purposes of this chapter each day during whichany violation shall occur shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
