SECTION 39-12-27.1

   § 39-12-27.1  Advertisements bytransporters of household goods. – (a) Every motor carrier engaged in the transportation of household goodsbetween points within the state including a carrier providing a serviceincidental to or part of such intrastate transportation shall include and shallrequire each of its agents to include in every advertisement as defined in thissection, the name or trade name of the motor carrier under whose operatingauthority the advertised service will originate and the certificate of publicconvenience number or permit number issued to the operating authority by thepublic utilities commission.

   (b) As used in this section "advertisement" shall mean anywritten or printed communication to the public in connection with an offer orsale of any intrastate transportation service but not including the name,address, and telephone number of the carrier.
