SECTION 39-21-10

   § 39-21-10  Appropriation of revenues.– With the exception of money received by the division from the sale or licensingof communications and educational materials regarding the use of 911 as auniform emergency telephone number and system, all money received by thedivision for the use of the facilities of the project shall be paid over to thegeneral treasurer and by him or her deposited in the fund. All money in thefund is hereby appropriated by the provisions of the chapter to be expended bythe division for administration and all expenses relating to the planning,construction, equipping, operational, and maintenance of the project; and thestate controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her ordersupon the general treasurer for the payment of such sum or sums as may benecessary from time to time. All money received by the division for the sale orlicensing of communications and educational materials as described in thischapter shall be deposited into a separate account or fund by the generaltreasurer for the sole restricted purpose of financially supporting thecreation, distribution, and use of public educational materials regarding theuse of 911 as a uniform emergency telephone number and system. For thesepurposes, the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his orher orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of such sum or sums asmay be necessary from time to time as determined by the associate director orhis or her designee.
