SECTION 39-8-9

   § 39-8-9  Order to maintain flag person orprecautionary appliance at grade crossing. – Every railroad corporation or lessees, receivers, or trustees of thecorporation operating railroads within this state shall cause flag persons orgates or other precautionary measures or appliances to be established orsubstituted wherever the railroads cross public highways, whenever and as oftenas in the opinion of the commission it is necessary for the safety of thepublic.
