§ 4-1-16 - Use of birds as targets.

SECTION 4-1-16

   § 4-1-16  Use of birds as targets. –Any person who keeps or uses any live pigeon, fowl, or other bird for thepurpose of a target or to be shot at, either for amusement or as a test ofskill in marksmanship, and any person who shoots at any bird or is a party toany shooting of any fowl or bird and any person who rents any building, shed,room, yard, field, or premises, or knowingly suffers or permits the use of anybuilding, shed, room, yard, field, or premises, for the purpose of shooting anyfowl or bird, shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00) or beimprisoned not exceeding ten (10) days, or both. Nothing in this sectionapplies to the shooting of any wild game in its wild state.
