SECTION 4-1-33

   § 4-1-33  Persons using animals forresearch – Registration. – (a) Any person, firm, partnership, or corporation actively engaged in animalresearch, who actually utilizes live animals for research purposes, shallregister with the department of health by filing with the department of healthon forms provided by it, the full name, address and type of research performedby the particular person, firm, partnership, or corporation involved in animalresearch. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this section shallbe fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500).

   (b) Upon passage of this section the department of healthshall publish a notice containing the provisions of this section.
