SECTION 4-1-7

   § 4-1-7  Live poultry containers. –Any crate or other container used for the purpose of transporting, shipping, orholding for sale any live poultry shall be in a sanitary condition and shall beconstructed so as to provide sufficient ventilation and warmth and the poultry,while in that container, shall receive any reasonable care as may be requiredto prevent unnecessary suffering. Any person violating any provision of thissection shall, for each offense, be imprisoned not exceeding fifteen (15) daysor be fined not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100), or both.
