SECTION 4-13-8

   § 4-13-8  Disposition of license fees.– Towns and cities may adopt ordinances or regulations concerning the use ofmoney received, but where no ordinances or regulations are adopted, town andcity clerks shall issue licenses and receive the money and pay the money intothe treasury of the city or town retaining fifty cents (50¢) for his orher own use for each license issued.
