§ 4-3-1 - Definitions. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 4-3-1

   § 4-3-1  Definitions. – For the purpose of §§ 4-3-1 – 4-3-11 the following words shallhave the meanings ascribed to them in this section:

   (1) "Director" means the director of environmental managementor the director's authorized agent.

   (2) "Garbage" means putrescible animal and vegetable wastesresulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of foodsincluding animal carcasses or parts,

   (3) "Person" means the state, any municipality, politicalsubdivision, institution, public or private corporation, individual,partnership, or other entity.
