SECTION 4-4-20

   § 4-4-20  Publication of information ondiseases. – The director of environmental management shall endeavor to obtain fullinformation in relation to any contagious disease which may prevail amongcattle or other domestic animals near the borders of the state, and shallpublish and circulate that information in his or her discretion. Should anycontagious disease break out, or should there be reasonable suspicion of itsexistence among cattle or other domestic animals in any city or town in thestate, he or she shall examine the cases, and publish the result of his or herexamination, for the benefit of the public.
